Kerry Stewart – Toledo Photographer
Hi, I’m Kerry Stewart I am a professional photographer and the owner of Toledo Photography Studio. The studio specializes in family portraits, children’s photography, newborns and high school senior sessions.
I began my photography journey studying at Owens community college. There, I received formal training in the field. One of my earliest hands-on experiences came from working at JCPenney Portrait Studios. That fast-paced environment taught me how to move quickly. I learned to think creatively. It helped me capture those fleeting, genuine moments. This is especially important with little ones who don’t always sit still for long!
Today, I combine that energy and technical knowledge in every session, whether it’s in-studio or on location. I love shooting outdoors and often work with families and seniors at some of the most beautiful spots in the Toledo area, like Wildwood Metropark, Toledo Botanical Garden, Side Cut Park, and Maumee Bay State Park. These places offer stunning natural backdrops that bring photos to life in such a unique and timeless way.
Over the years, I’ve had the honor of photographing high school seniors from across the region, including students from St. Ursula Academy, St. John’s Jesuit, Anthony Wayne High School, Springfield High School, and Whitmer High School. Each session is tailored to the senior’s personality and style, creating a gallery that truly feels like them.
